This is the identity design for Houston Hope. The concept was to try to convey Houston as a major city and Hope as an idea and promise. This was accomplished by using the recognizable Houston skyline and to represent hope I used the word itself. By making the word Hope much larger than "Houston" it becomes the focus of the identity mark. It is saying that the idea and the promise of the Hope of Houston is bigger than Houston as the city. The Star in the middle of the "O" works double duty, it represents Texas being the lone star state and it represents the North Star. The North Star is a symbol of guidance and of course hope.

The business card was designed after the homepage of the website. It was designed with many of the same elements that were used to create the look and feel of the site. The reason was to establish a feel and style and create unity for future collateral pieces.

The website is still in the design phase and is not yet fully functional. If you're interested to find out how it turns out check back often as progress will be updated regularly.
